At Locatrix we have some exciting news to share with our community. We have formalised an investment partnership with Australian based Pemba Capital Partners. This relationship is pivotal and will supply the fuel for business growth and realise the significant market opportunity before us.
For more than a decade John Hummelstad has led Locatrix in improving safety outcomes and service delivery to the Fire Services Sector through the innovation technology platform including: PlanSafe, PlanStudio and more recently the invention of Emergency Services Platform (ESP) for delivering indoor mapping and emergency plans to First Responders.
Almost two years ago the Locatrix Board began a worldwide corporate development process to find the right investment partner. Part of this journey involved the appointment of Scott Jackson as Chief Operating Officer (COO), to facilitate the essential scaling systems and process improvements to lay the foundation for future growth, and to provide a succession plan for John. With the Pemba partnership now moving into execution phase, Scott has been promoted to CEO enabling John to move to a Board of Directors role in the expanded business.
“The Locatrix shareholders, staff and outgoing Board are all thrilled with the Pemba Partnership, Scott Jackson’s well-deserved promotion and my own appointment to the new Locatrix Board.”
- John Hummelstad
Recognising that Locatrix’s success is largely due to is brilliant culture and shared values, Scott and John have worked closely at a succession plan that will support and establish a plan for growth that prioritises what is important to Locatrix: its people, its customers and its vision to provide kick ass technology to save lives.
“I am honored to have the support of John and the board to take on the role of CEO and continue our mission to innovate and improve safety outcomes in Australia and abroad. Our partnership with Pemba Capital Partners marks a new chapter of growth and opportunity for Locatrix.”
