Georgia is Locatrix’s Girl Friday and Amanda Eade’s right hand woman in the Finance Team. Quite rightly, she was awarded the “Employee of the Quarter” accolade recently at our End of Financial Year gathering. A great way to honour all her behind the scenes work within the running of the office, and assisting with all those tricky finance duties and dealing with auditors.

With a phenomenal 5 votes from across all departments, it’s true that this gentle and kind fashionista is very much a beloved part of the Locatrix world.

Georgia also knows her way around a great cocktail menu and charcuterie board. Fact. Who better to have on your team than Georgia.

Q1: How long have you been working at Locatrix?

I have been at Locatrix for just over 4 years now. I started right in the middle of Covid so it was an interesting start. I feel like I’ve lived many lives. When I first started, I was looking after compliance, admin and customer support and then eventually moved into doing a bit of finance as well. Along the way, I spent a bit of time in sales (thankfully not anymore) but now I’d say the majority of my role is in Finance – it keeps me very busy.

Q2: What’s it like to work at Locatrix?

It’s the best! I love that we have a very respectful and inclusive environment, and everyone is given the chance to make themselves heard. It doesn’t hurt that we have a lot of fun and all get along well too!

Q3: How did you feel when you were awarded “Employee of the Quarter” and reading your colleagues thoughts on what you have achieved?

I was shocked! It’s a really comforting feeling when you’ve been putting in hard work and other people recognise it too. The comments were all really lovely and encouraging.

Q4: What was your dream career when you were younger?

Funnily enough, when I was little, I thought I wanted to be a singer or an actress but now the thought of even talking in front of a large group of people makes me feel a bit sick.

Q5: Most favourite place (anywhere in the world) that you would like to go to?

Japan is definitely at the top of my list, but I’d love to go to Iceland and see somewhere that’s completely different to anywhere I’ve been before!

Q6: Favourite website

It’s not really a website but I love when zoo’s live stream animals on YouTube.

What is a Bespoke Emergency Plan?

PRM is a great example of a thriving partner with the enthusiasm to innovate to best support its customers in the Health and Aged Care sector.
