Introducing Cameron Scott

Locatrix is delighted to announce the appointment of Cameron Scott to its Advisory Board effective 1 September 2021. For over 25 years, Cameron has worked in the corporate real estate and facilities management outsourcing sector for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). He has operated in over 20 geographical markets in Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas.

Working in corporate roles at country, regional and global levels, Cameron’s career has encompassed business strategy, operations, business transformation, change management and risk management.

Cameron was Chair and a long-standing contributing member of the JLL Global FM Speciality Board, tasked with driving innovation and consistency globally, and led JLL’s global pandemic response to clients in 2020.With his attention now turned to assisting in the future development and innovation of Locatrix applications, Cameron is excited by the company’s prospects.

I believe Locatrix can build on its success in the Fire and Safety industry by addressing client needs in the Facilities Management (FM) sector, with the future development of visual asset management and indoor mapping. As the FM market continues to grow I see immense potential for Locatrix to provide current and accurate floor plans to corporate clients, assisting them to increase the efficiency of day to day operations”.

Digitisation and dynamic capability better enable space utilisation, workspace redesign and wayfinding, as well as whole-of-building FM applications such as asset management and maintenance.”

Cameron’s appointment is strategic for Locatrix. Today using PlanStudio, Locatrix publishes 80% of the Australian fire industry’s evacuation diagrams and manages over 30 Million square metres of indoor floor plans. Locatrix now is looking to grow further through innovation, leveraging data for clients and expanding through its channel partners.

Guided by Cameron’s experience, knowledge and passion for innovation, Locatrix is excited about the value he will add to its technology, in particular in the quest to further develop visual asset management and create “thin twin” technology for existing buildings.
