Providing security and peace of mind for families is all part of the Uandme experience.  Parents and families can use the Uandme mobile and web user interfaces to view family member locations, and establish personal location areas (such as “home”, or “School”) that can be geo-referenced when a location request is made. Through a rich, Web 2.0 interface – fully supported on all major web browsers – users can also set timed location alerts, receiving notifications via text message or e-mail.

Like all Locatrix application experiences, the Uandme web user interface is fully internationalised, and can be translated into any language. Template-driven layouts support the inclusion of operator-specific general and regulatory-compliant subscriber messaging, as well as customisation of themes, logos and images which can be enhanced to suit any mobile network branding.

The Uandme web user experience also supports the optional Placesnaps module. Mobile-originated content such as photographs/MMS can be tagged, re-located (via drag and dropping on a map), and browsed via a dynamic map. The Locatrix social networking framework allows the users to share their location with their friends via external social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and Friendster.  And through full integration with the Uandme mobile user experience, users can take their family location service on the move, wherever they go.
